Candle care

Candle products are handcrafted with premium oils and 100% soy wax, and have a shelf life of over a year. To make sure you are getting the most out of your candle, we recommend a few simple steps. Before every burn, you should trim your candle’s wick from 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. It is always advised to burn your candle away from anything highly flammable and to never leave a burning candle unattended. Make sure the flame is completely out and let your candle cool after burning. The first burn is so import for a lasting candle. To avoid tunneling and wasting any wax, you should set aside enough time to let the candle burn to the edge and melt all the way across.

Concrete care

Concrete products are unsealed, unless noted. Due to the nature of handmade products, the concrete will have imperfections and differences (like air bubbles) that add the the beauty. Each concrete piece is unique and no two will look exactly alike. Please expect variations. To clean, wipe down with a dry cloth.

The inside of the concrete candles are sealed with a non-toxic, water-based protective sealant. This is for safety and prevents the wax and fragrance oil from leaking out of the porous material. The outside of the vessel is not sealed, and for that reason is more susceptible to staining. To use candle refill, see below. Please discard concrete jar if sealant breaks down over time and there is leakage, or concrete jar breaks.
