This session is tailored for individuals who are passionate about sharing their creative talents and ideas, but do not yet have experience in hosting live events or workshops.
This event is for you if hosting an event in 2025 is on your goal list. The Art of Workshops will be a transformative journey designed to equip you with the essential skills and strategies needed to design, plan, and execute successful community-centered workshops.
This event is being hosted by Tura Lura Co. in West Branch. After being asked over the last few years for advice and support in helping other creatives launch their workshop, this 3 hour in-person group workshop is designed with all the questions you might have. Join other creative entrepreneurs who are ready to move their workshop idea into action.
Session Agenda:
Welcome - Every good community centered workshop starts with getting to know each other!
Intentional Idea Design - Participants will start by refining their workshop concepts through a structured group coaching process. We will explore methods to clarify objectives, identify target audiences, and develop unique value propositions.
Thoughtful Workshop Planning - Building on a solid foundation of idea development, participants will be guided through the detailed planning process with curriculum development, logistics management, and marketing strategies.
Effective Partnership and Collaboration - Fostering collaborations and building partnerships is essentially when beginning. Identify potential partners, learn about mutually beneficial relationships, and how to set up collaborative event execution.
Confidently Hosting Community-Centered Events - participants will focus on the execution of their workshops. This includes facilitation techniques, feedback collection, and building a community.
